Zayn Malik's Style Evolution Through the Years
Since we've pretty much established that Zayn Malik's hair is absolute perfection, it's now about time that we talk about his own personal style. In line with our Zayn appreciation weekend (huhu, we're really gonna miss you), we wanted to take a look back at fashion memory lane to see the awesome looks and styles he's showcased during performances, award shows, and just every day life! Just as he's experimented with his hair, Zayn has also experimented with different looks and styles and you can tell he has fun with fashion. In an interview with One Direction's stylist, Caroline Watson, she mentioned that Zayn was always the cool street style guy who can also do high fashion. He's also not afraid to take fashion risks, making him a major trendsetter–all of which we totally agree with! 1 Fetus!Zayn's style was nothing too distinct–a mix of preppy and urban looks that wasn't too focused yet. Although early on there were signs that he had a knack for fashion.
2 A year or so later, Zayn was developing a more street style that composed of denim, plaid, high-top sneakers, and the occasional leather. His outfits started looking more polished and he definitely took more risks.
3 A year after that was when he really started being a true style icon by sporting edgier and more rock and roll outfits with a lot of tailored pieces, leather, and sleek combat boots.
4 Zayn also began showing off more high fashion outfits which composed of statement suits, cool prints, and awesome hair to match, of course!
5 Zayn's style has definitely evolved because he can now casually and effortlessly mix outfits with different street, urban, high fashion, and rock and roll pieces that all seamlessly go togther perfectly. This has definitely solified Zayn's status as a major fashion influence.
