As of late, many entreprenuers and fashion-savvy folk have taken it upon themselves to establish brands that create pieces out of recycled fabric. In particular, there's been an abundance of tops, hats, dresses, jackets, and even corsets fashioned out of repurposed flour sacks. On the top of our list is AndAgain, who were responsible for the cropped polo we saw on Kath, and the kimono Dimples and her kids rocked. With the goal to give flour sacks and waste fabric a second life, each article of clothing is ethically-made and counts as unisex (as all clothes technically are). Based in Tagaytay, Project.ph has took it upon themselves to showcase how "scraps" can be redone as everyday pieces that are easy on the eyes. They utilize the colorful print on the sacks to create cute patterns on their tops, bucket hats, and jumpsuits (Yup, a full on jumpsuit made of flour sacks!)

All consciously made out of revived flour sacks, of course. You'd be the coolest gal on the shore with these tossed over your swimmies!

Let's say you've explored your options and are looking for a couture-esque edge with your upcycled pieces. Luckily, renowned designer Neric Beltran has been dabbling into flour sacks with his work, so he's definitely the one to hit up.
