ICYDK, Japanese brand Muji, has an ongoing mid-season sale—think basic wardrobe staples and home essentials at up to 30% and 20% off, respectively—until December 7. We know that Muji is your go-to for stationery, but did you ever think to try some of their other offerings? We scoured through their online catalog and zeroed in on these minimalist and comfortable sneakers that deserve to be in your wardrobe. Best part? They're less than P500.

Snag these MUJI sneakers at a whopping discount.

Since we live in a tropical country like the Philippines, we experience only two seasons: dry and wet. Given the latter, it's important to have sneakers that can withstand even the slightest drizzle. One such pair is the Water Repellent Comfort Sneakers from the Japanese brand. In true Muji fashion, the shoe sports a basic, minimalist design, and get this, they're water-repellent.

Convinced to bite the proverbial bullet already? You have a couple of choices with your colorways. The cheapest option you can cop is the Smokey Apricot variant which is currently for sale at P290 (the retail price is P1,490). It comes in a muted brown color that will still pair well with your basics. In case the color's not the vibe you're looking for, you can opt for the Black or White versions of the shoe albeit with a slight price increase marking them up to P330. Still, a pretty good deal if you ask us.
