One of this season’s hottest trends are oxfords and brogues. Designers have been using menswear as their inspiration in making new collections and it's no surprise that this classic footwear resurfaces again in today's fashion scene. Not only did the classic design from the '50s come back, there are also new modern styles that have been introduced to the market. Oxfords and brogues somewhat look the same but there’s a difference between the two. Oxfords are those that have an enclosed lace up detailing. Basically, oxfords are often plain. Brogues on the other hand are actually oxfords with details called “wing tip.” The wing tip is the design which forms a “W” on the toecap of the shoe. What makes it different from an oxford is that it has dotted details or what they call "brogue detailing."

Different styles of oxfords and brogues have been created to suit every girl's taste. Here are some of the styles available in the market now.
