Did you catch James Reid and Nadine Lustre on ASAP yesterday? Then you must've spotted Naddie's #OOTD! We were super proud to find out that her custom-made top was actually created by a former Candymag.com Correspondent! Mix Supetran isn't a stranger to celebrity clients. She once made a beaded gown for Julia Barretto!

We caught up with the Candy contributor to ask her how she got to design a top for Nadine!

  1. It's so cool that you got to make a top for Nadine! How did Nadine Lustre's stylist find you?
A few months back, stylist Joanna Garcia asked me to make a two-piece swimsuit for another celebrity. She found me on Instagram and got my number. Although it didn't push through, I'm glad I was able to make a piece for Nadine Lustre months after.

  2. Did Nadine have any say in the specifications for the top you made for her?
The only request was to have a top made with tulle. There were no other specifics. I just made sure my design was something she would actually wear and true to her style. It wasn't hard designing for Nadine since some how my design aesthetics and her style are similar. Edgy and sexy, but still classic.

  3. Will these be available for custom orders or is it one-of-a-kind for Nadine?
Of course I am willing to make something like that for other clients. Not exactly like Nadine's though. I want that top to be specially made for her!

  4. If someone wants to have a top like this made, how do they get in touch with you?
They can inquire through my email address mixsupetran@gmail.com or message me on my Instagram page: @mixsuper & @mixportfolio.

  5. Who are your other dream celeb clients?
My dream celebrities to dress up are Anne Curtis, Yassi Pressman, and Kim Chiu. They are the perfect muses!
