Take Your OOTD Photos To The Next Level With These Helpful Tips

These days everything just has to be Snapped or posted on Instagram. From food to wall art, and of course everyone's favorite OOTD photos. With so many fashion bloggers, models, celebrities, and fashionistas posting their outfits on their feed, we asked fashion and portrait photographer, Heidi Sarol, on how you can take your OOTD shots to the next level and become #FeedGoals, too!

Know the mood that you're going for and check the weather before taking the shot. If you're going for an edgy photo then take it when the sun is strong which is around noon time. If you want a romantic theme, then take it during the wee hours of the morning to give your photos a softer feel.

Elongate your legs in the photos by taking the shot from below. Ask a friend to kneel down and take the shot for you if you have to!

Always check the background to see if it complements your outfit. If it clashes with your OOTD, then opt for a different background or location.

Don't stop until you've taken the perfect shot for your feed. Don't be complacent.

Look for regular photo spots and take your OOTD shots there. It should keep your feed cohesive and uniformed, too!

Always keep it original. Don't be afraid to play with different photo editing apps when editing one photo. That way your photo will standout more.
