Style Files: Christine Luang

Eighteen-year-old Christine let's you in on her style secrets.

Name: Christine Luang
Age: 18
School: College of Saint Benilde
Hometown: Las Pinas City

Indescribable style. I don't know. I don't think I can describe my style without contradictions. Style varies from one day to another... whatever I wear on a certain day depends on what I want to look like, what I feel, the first song I heard in the morning... or when I woke up late for school!

Shopping haunts
. Nowhere in particular. I shop anywhere... as in anywhere when I see something I really like. But I love SM Department Store, Zara, Topshop, The Ramp, Rustan's and thrift stores. Always keep your eyes open for interesting things! :D

Favorite fashion designer. I love Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang!!! :D

Outfit complete. A huge bag to store all my junk. Hahaha!

Color me inspired. Fashion bloggers, music, photographs, architecture and random silly things like insects, curtains, etc...

Favorite style icon. Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson, Agyness Deyn and MK and A! On the internet, I am inlove with Rosanna Aranaz', and Chictopia's deathbyplatforms' [sorry, I don't know her name :(] styles.
What influenced your style? Rosanna Aranaz, Loris (dizzyrizzy on Chictopia), fashion collectives like LookBook.nu & Chictopia.com, street style sites and a lot of fashion blogs!

Closet color palette. Oh, it's like a box of crayons! I have so much colors but I wear a lot of purples, and some summery colors. Oh and black! I wear black so much even now that it's summer and it's unbearably hot.

Never ever. Sneakers with heels!

The stylish three. A basic tank top, because you can use it with a lot of things. A Little Black Dress. A classic designer bag, that's why it's always a huge investment! :)

Trend comeback. Shoulderpads and acid washed jeans! Awesome awesome awesome!

Vintage is the new new. Sadly, I do not own anything vintage but a couple of vintage keys I got on a field trip to Vigan that I'm planning to reinvent as a necklace. I just steal some of my mom's stuff sometimes... like jewelries, jackets, bags, etc. but nothing vintage... heehee ^_^ My mom's been showing us photos of her in awesome clothes from way back but they're all gone now. :( And my lola has this super cute Mary Jane shoes that she still wears up to now but I don't think they'll fit me if she gives them away. Haha!
