Style with a twist. For now, I would say my style is girly with a twist. I always want to try something new especially when it comes to fashion.
Bargain hunter.
I usually shop in tiangges and bazaars because you always find something interesting for a price that doesn't hurt your wallet but I also go to high end stores like Forever 21 as well. I also have a sister who works abroad so sometimes I ask her to look for clothes that I can't find in the Manila. Style is more important to me than the label so I'm open to shop anywhere.
Fave fashion designer.
As of the moment, my favorite local fashion designer is Camille Co of Coexist. I really love all the clothes she designs for her line. Since I'm also currently looking for prom dress ideas, Vera Wang has become one of my favorites too.
Accessorize!
It just gives the outfit that final touch but always remember to not over accessorize.
Tricia Will Go Places
. My favorite style icon is Tricia Gosingtian. I just admire her "sophisti-cute" style and the way she puts her outfits together. Fashion and photography are also my interests and she's great at both of them!
Media-inspired.
The way I grew up and media have influenced my style a lot. Whenever I see something that I like, I try to see if I could do another version of it in my style.
Color palette.
There is a spectrum of colors in my closet but I don't have anything orange though. I even arranged my closet according to color so it would be easier for me to find my clothes.
Never ever!
A turtleneck. It's too hot in the Philippines!
The basics.
For me, jeans, blazers and basics never go out of style. They are the go-to pieces whenever I feel lazy to dress up.
Trend rebirth.
All the trends from the past that I liked have already come back such as combat boots and high waisted bottoms. After noticing that vintage has become a trend again, I now know not to throw away clothes that are not on trend because one day they might just come back.
Vintage owns.
My sister bought me high waisted shorts that only cost P20. I'm not really sure how old it is but it still looks good as new. I also have to find the key to my mother's old closet. I remember it was full of blazers because she always wore one before when I was little.
