Simplicity. Pretty laid back. I dress according to my mood, the weather, where I'm going, who I'm gonna be with, the occasion. Just really simple, basic, laid back and well put together. I don't like looking sloppy.
Shopping goddess. I really like Topshop, Mango, Zara, H&M, and Forever 21. I recently visited Australia and fell in love with Supre's clothes! Locally, I love Folded & Hung, Maldita, Bayo, Bench, People are People, Rustan's, Just G. I also love shopping at department stores, bazaars and at the Greenhills tiangge. I also go online to check out streetbeatboutique.multiply.com, shopwanderlust.multiply.com, and urbanjuncture.multiply.com. Most of the time though I just window shop! :)
Favorite fashion designer. I really like Gucci ever since Frida Giannini became creative director, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang for making basics look good, Balmain, and Marchesa. There are so many talented local designers that I can't choose my favorites! Although I'd have to say that I like the works of Rajo Laurel, Dennis Lustico, Veejay Floresca and Mich Dulce.
Style Icons. I adore Kate Bosworth, Rachel Bilson, and Vanessa Hudgens. The Olsen twins are pretty risky when it comes to fashion and I find their style interesting. Natalie Portman always makes the right choice when it comes to evening wear. Kate Moss and Alexa Chung for their ability to mix and match. Locally, it would have to be Raya Mananquil and Valerie de los Santos.Color Palette. White, black, purple, navy blue, cobalt blue, brown, gray. Make a comeback. I really like the elegance of the '50s, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly epitomized the classic elegant look. Everyone always made an effort to dress up and look polished. Also the glamour of the '70s when YSL reigned supreme.
Vintage Finds. I'm a bag addict, and I'm really happy that my mom kept all her bags in storage. Recently, I've been bugging my mom to unearth her old blazers so I can wear some of them.
