It's no longer a secret that our May cover girl Sofia Andres totally slayed her entire cover shoot. Because really, how gorgeous does she look? The young star was definitely the perfect fit for the very first issue of the #AllNewCandy. From her outfits to her flawless makeup, what's not to love? And if you totally loved her beauty look for the shoot, you're in luck because her makeup artist Effie Go shared with us exactly what she did and how she did it! So if you want to recreate Sofia's sun-kissed makeup look, scroll down below for all of Effie's tips and tricks.
EYES: "I used neutral tones for the eye shadow and opted not to go for smoky eyes. I first applied a Lorac neutral shade, then a reddish-brown, and then I dabbed something darker–a cooler brown eyeshadow shade for her outer crease."
BROWS: I went with strong brows using Anastacia Dipbrow Pomade and brow pencil, both in soft brown. I started by first applying the dip brow (cream type) and then the pencil of Anastacia, both in the same shade.
TIP: For fuller or stronger brows without making it look too busy or dark, its always best to go lighter. So no blacks or dark browns. More medium browns or even dark blonde shades, anything too dark comes out too stronger.
CHEEKS: I bronzed her up since it's summer time. I used Smashbox sculpting powder all over her cheeks and a little bit for the contour then I used Hourglass for the highlighter."
LIPS: I used a coral shade to suit the season. The shade is Prairie from Make Up Store. The I topped it off with a coral lip gel.
