Selfie Poses To Try If You’re Too Shy To Show Your Face

Taking selfies might seem like a fairly easy task to do. But some of us are not as confident showing our faces in front of the camera as the rest, even for something as simple as a selfie. And it’s okay if you don’t exactly want to expose your ~lewk~ on cam. Walang basagan ng trip! Whether you’re shy or are just looking for a new way to creatively take selfies, here are some #CandyRookie pegs to try that will strategically hide your face (or parts of it).
Mirror selfie
Mirror selfies are pretty big right now, especially for at-home shoots na sariling sikap. Your phone will also conveniently cover parts of your face for a ~creative~ effect.
Super zoom
An effective way of cropping out parts of your face is to take your shots up close. Nasa angle lang 'yan minsan!
Playing with shadows
Sunlight is practically a no-brainer source of light for any good selfie. Step it up by looking for a spot around the house that will creatively cast shadows on your face.
Covering your face with your hand
Nothing beats the classic takip-mukha using your hands--just make sure they're clean and sanitized before you strike a pose!
Side profile
Looking to the sides to hide one part of your face is also a classic pose. All you really need to do is to look away from the camera and flex that jawline.
Put on a hat
Add some accessories to your look for extra props. Grab your trusty bucket hats before snapping a selfie and play around with different angles.
Crop your face out entirely
If the goal of your selfie is to highlight certain parts of your 'fit like your cool new piercings or your newly made manicure, leaving out your face from the frame can add to the aesthetic of the photo.
