Turning 18 marks a turning point in every girl's life. Not only is it the start of their official transition into adulthood, but it can also mean a lavish party to celebrate the momentous occasion!Â
But before all the main party's festivities, some debutantes like to tease their guests with a gorgeous photoshoot. Case in point: Sam Cruz recently had an adorable '50s diner-themed shoot for her upcoming 18th birthday on August 24. Coordinated by Sweet Comfort Events Management and shot by Nice Print Photo at Filling Station Bar Cafe in Makati, the Gen Z star looked every bit like she belonged in yesteryears.
LOOK: Sam Cruz's 1950s Diner-Themed Pre-Debut Photoshoot
Her first look had her in a two-piece polka dotted set featuring a bralette top with a sweetheart neckline and a billowy tea-length skirt. Stylist Francis Chee then added a pearl necklace around Sam's neck and finished off her look with a printed bandanna wrapped around her head. To emphasize the '50s era, makeup artist Muriel Vega Perez gave her a bold red lip and a sharp eyeliner wing.

Roller skating waitresses were a popular fixture in the 1950s and Sam paid tribute to that in her next layout. She paired her cute bubblegum pink roller skates with an oversized sequined jacket over an asymmetrical top and denim shorts.

Donning a more preppy look for her third and final layout, Sam channeled school girl vibes in an argyle cardigan over a white top and a plaid skirt. She punctuated her look with pearl accessories as she smized at the camera!
