We’ll be staying at home until the end of the month, but that doesn’t mean our creative juices stop flowing. There are plenty of opportunities to stage your own mini photo shoot around the house, you just need the right perspective! Just grab a willing sibling or family member to model or take photos for you and you’re good to go. To help you out, here are some ideas you can try for your #TeamBahay photo shoot:

Strike a pose near a window.

Windows are an easy source of natural light, which is always a good idea if you want quality photos. Even if you’re awkward in front of the camera, you’ll still end up with an Insta-worthy shot.

Sit or lean on a table in the kitchen.

Hindi ka man magaling magluto, the kitchen will still come in handy for you. It could double as a worthy location for a spontaneous shoot. For your pose, sit on a table top or counter and play around with the available lighting and the kitchen cabinets—all it takes is finding the right angle.

Stand in front of an Insta-worthy wall and match your getup with it.

Coordinate your ‘fit with a certain artsy part around the house—whether it’s a plain colored wall or a nicely framed painting. A classic standing pose taken at creative angles will ace the shot.

Sit on table tops and arm rests and put a leg up.

Chairs aren’t the only things worth sitting on. If you need quality content, play around the spaces in your house. Your couch or the clutter in your room could work well as props.

Pretend you’re looking at yourself in the mirror.

Every house has at least one mirror. Use this to your advantage and take artsy shots in front of it.

Lean against a wall.

Wherever you may be, a classic plain white wall is a no-fail background. Lean against it, emote-emote nang konti, and you’ve got yourself an Insta-friendly photo.
