ICYMI, American Music Awards 2021 (AMAs) kicked off this weekend with a star-studded red carpet and musical lineup. Undoubtedly one of world’s biggest music nights, there was no shortage of show-stoppers, leaving us with numerous moments to gush over!
Boasting seven nominations under her belt, Gen-Z superstar Olivia Rodrigo fronted the fashion crowd with a shimmering, sequined fishtail gown by David Koma, an ode to her periwinkle Sour album cover. The 18-year-old Good For You artist was a true head-turner in the sheer dress, which features a form-fitting bodice and a plunging neckline, making it one of her boldest looks to date.

Looking closely at her red carpet moment, though, it definitely reminded us of former Miss Universe Catriona Gray’s holographic look in her Love Language music video.

Styled by Cebu-based designer Robert Hiyas, Cat looks equally as dazzling as Olivia in her cowl neck frock and bodysuit for the MV. Such gorgeous twinning looks, don't you think? They even styled their signature brunette tresses in the same long, loose curls!
Long before this matching fashion moment, the two have been continuously teased as each other’s doppelgangers, and they’re swooning over it.
Last May, Olivia gushed over the beauty queen in an interview, where she revealed that she’s been told she looks like Cat. "People always say that I sort of look like her, which is insane 'cause she's literally like the most beautiful people person I've ever seen. So anytime people say that, I'm like, 'Really?! That's crazy!'"
A snippet of the video was recorded by a fan and it reached Cat, who then reposted it on her Instagram stories, captioned: “Whuuuut. Hi @oliviarodrigo.”
