Louis Vuitton's Viral Face Shield is Reportedly Worth P47K

Face masks and face shields have become part of our daily OOTDs in quarantine, so you probably already have a few on rotation from different sources. There are tons of affordable options available in the market, but for the crazy rich Asians, we see them looking at ~luxury~ options, and Louis Vuitton leads the way with the LV Shield.
The LV Shield is the iconic brand's luxurious version of the face shield which is described as "an eye-catching headpiece, both stylish and protective."
According to a report by Vanity Fair, the French fashion house unveiled this stylish protective gear on the second week of September 2020 as part of its 2021 Cruise collection.
The shield comes with an elastic monogrammed strap and has a built-in transition lens that switches from clear to dark depending on the level of sunlight it is exposed to.
Rimming the sleek shield is the distinct Louis Vuitton Monogram. The shield can also be lifted to function as a peaked hat.
Local LV lovers will have to wait for the confirmation of the face shield's release in the Philippines.
Business Insider reports that the first batch will be available in select stores worldwide on October 30th.
A representative of Louis Vuitton also told the business news website that the price of the LV Shield is yet to be finalized.
But there are reports that it could be pegged at USD961 or PHP46,600. What do you think about this viral face shield? Sound off by commenting below!
