We all have our dream wardrobe in mind, but our allowances often fail to agree with us. Here, we rundown the things you can do to own a style star-worthy closet without spending more than you can afford:

1. Determine the style you really love.

When you are aware of what clothing, shoes, and accessories work for your lifestyle and taste, it will be easier to shop. Also, whatever you end up buying, you'll surely be able to wear it, and not let it rot in your closet unworn with tags!

2. Remember that shopping should be easy.

If you're in the fitting room and it's taking too long for you decide if you'll get the item you're wearing, ditch it. You're probably just convincing yourself to justify the purchase you don't need to be making. Whatever you'll be taking home must seamlessly blend with your existing wardrobe, and must fit your body perfectly.

4. Acknowledge the closet essentials.

Invest in quality basic pieces because they will never go out of style. Plus, these can make dressing up a breeze.

5. Watch out for sale season.
