ART Trixie Ison

Always find yourself wanting to accessorize your outfit but don't know where to begin or what accessories to choose from? That's okay, we've all been there at one point and we're here to help with a few basic tips on accessorizing. In fact, we're sharing with you exactly how the pros do it, so that you too can look like a fashionista! Check out the 3 basic tips below that will surely lead you to always looking your best with the help of accessories.

1 Invest in the essentials.

Build your collection with basic accessories. Start with a pair of stud earrings, followed by a statement necklace, sunnies, a belt, a dress watch, a neutral-colored clutch, and an everyday bag. Also, amass a solid shoe wardrobe, so you won't have a hard time taking your outfits from day to night.

2 Go for timeless designs.

Avoid those with trendy details—the styles will look old in a flash. Instead, pick accessories that can surpass seasons. A simple rule to follow: If the style has survived decades, it's a classic.
