The summer season has bid its goodbyes with the rainy weather checking in. But that doesn't mean our feet can't enjoy some pretty flip flops! Ipanema is back in a big way this month and we're talking new collection and new store. The brand, known for its vibrant designs inspired from the colourful world of Brazil, is branching out from department store stalls to actual retail branches within malls. After three successful launches provincially, Ipanema finally opens its first store ever in the Metro with a new look to boot.

The store’s funky ambiance is easily encapsulated in each flip-flop's trendy look. The color palette mainly consists of brights, neons, and classic hues. Each pattern has its own version of fun with the styles having their own unique quirks. These and their signature buttery soft sole will have you browsing through the collection with instant good vibes.  Add to that the Selfeet stations where you can get snap happy of your feet in some cool Ipanema kicks and trippy backgrounds. Don't forget to add the hashtag, #IpanemaSelfeet while you're at it!

Another Ipanema store is set to be opened in the Metro at September 21 in Robinsons Ermita. Headlined by #IpanemaSelfeet, a campaign that dares young fashionistas to create their own adventures and capture each memorable moment, Ipanema Selfeet Sunday will kick off on the same day and venue. Lots of fun and surprises are ahead with James Reid and Nadine Lustre (a.k.a. JaDine) gracing the festivities. As we wait, you can check out five of my favorites from the store now open at the ground floor of the SM North EDSA Annex, just click on the gallery below!
