Scoring an interview for your dream internship is basically winning half the battle already. Now that you have one foot on the doorstep, make sure you nail your interview with your skills, awesome personality, and impressive style, too! Below, we asked Marijo Caronongan, an HR Consultant and Practitioner, to list down the style tips every girl must know to score that internship.

ONE. Wear an interview appropriate outfit. A dress or a skirt that's knee-length is a no fail. Mini skirts, backless pieces, and plunging necklines are definitely a major no!

TWO. When picking a top, make sure to choose one with collar and sleeves. Tuck it under a skirt or trousers to keep your look sleek.

THREE. When in doubt, a blazer will always make you look more professional.

FOUR. A no brainer, it's important to always iron your clothes—especially when you're headed to an interview. Wrinkled clothes just give the impression of sloppiness.

FIVE. While they may be trendy, costume jewelry like a cocktail ring or a statement necklace will not impress your interviewer—unless you’re applying for a fashion position.

SIX. Just like in your regular OOTDs, your shoes can either make or break your internship look, too! Make sure that your shoes are clean and always well-shined.
