6 Haircuts to Try This Season

We're down to the last week of the year and we know you're itching for a brand new look to help you ring in the New Year. And who to better get pegs from than your favorite local celebs, right? These ladies in particular steer clear of the cookie-cutter long, dyed, layered hair we’ve been seeing on almost everyone for the past X seasons. So, to get you started, here are a couple of photos you might want to show your stylist for your next salon trip. You're welcome!
1 The textured lob.
Forget what the others are saying. Short hair is definitely fresh and fuss free. If you're worried about your ends flying away, don't be. It adds character to your look so don’t fuss about it too much.
2 The lady-like undercut.
Rip a page from the boys and sport their favorite long-in-the-middle-short-on-the-sides 'do. Slick it back with some pomade, and work that hair like a brother would.
3 Mid-length layers.
It's the perfect compromise length for those who don't want to go short but not too long either. Plus, it looks great with a collarbone-baring top!
4 Overstayed layers.
What's the best remedy for bangs that have grown out? Part them down the middle. This looks best when worn a little messy since those uneven layers have a tendency to look very rock & roll.
5 Long and lush.
Long luscious locks never goes out of style. Keep it sleek and straight, cut at an even length, and parted in the middle for that supermodel-esque look.
6 Blunt and right on the shoulders.
We call this "the editor" hair. It's sleek, easy, and current. You can easily switch it up by changing your part or even by wearing it tucked or un-tucked behind your ears.
