Sneakers used to be worn only by girls with sporty styles or during P.E. classes. But now a pair of sneakers is considered to be extremely fashion forward, and can be paired with anything from a pair of denim cut-offs to sport an edgy look, or even dresses for a cute twist on a girly OOTD. While there are so many buzzworthy sneakers that constantly demand our attention, there are some sneakers that have stood the test of time, are considered classics, and can truly be called icons.
- Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star

While the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star started out as shoes for basketball players, it easily became a sneaker staple thanks to its clean style, and its strong form. Girls used to pair their classic Chucks with jeans or a pair of shorts for a grunge vibe, but for a cool '00s look pair your Chucks with a feminine dress for a mismatched, but still fashionable outfit combination.
- Adidas Stan Smith

Whether you're a sneakerhead or not, a pair of Adidas Stan Smith is undeniably the sneaker choice of the moment. While walking around campus, window shopping with your friends, or grabbing lunch you're bound to pass by fashionistas rocking a pair of this oldie, but goodie pair of kicks.
