For days when you feel like you have "nothing to wear," layering can instantly double up the size of your closet with the different outfit combinations you can do just by mixing and matching your current closet staples! While layering can be difficult in a hot and cold country like the Philippines, here are some layering tricks you can, and should master for OOTDs that will take you from zero to hero in a snap!

Wear your shirtdress as a jacket.

Spice up your casual OOTD by using your shirtdress as an outerwear instead of wearing it on its own. Just put on a basic tee to match your cute skirt and throw on a loose shirtdress for some added style boost.

Wear a cami over a turtleneck.

A turtleneck and a cami are two basic pieces, but when you put the two together you instantly have a fashionable look that will surely stand out.

Rock a cute skirt over casual jeans.

Wearing your dress over a pair of jeans is a cute and fashionable outfit combination that is definitely not for the faint at heart. Take the style equation up a notch by wearing a skirt over a pair of jeans this time around! For a bold take on this layering trick, put on a basic black and white outfit and add a pop of color with a pair of fun colored pants.

Throw a mini dress over a button down top.

These two pieces already look good on their own, but combine these two staples to create a fun and preppy look you don’t want to miss! Wear a classic button down as you normally would and top it off with a cute mini dress to inject some fun into the outfit for a totally adorable OOTD.
