Though the weather here in the Philippines doesn't give us the opportunity to layer and sport super chic winter ensembles, we Candy Girls can still rock one of the winter basics during the 'ber months here in the country: the turtleneck. Turtlenecks can be a bit tricky to style and pull off because it's not something we Filipinas are used to wearing and it can be difficult to not get lost and sink into that warm, fuzzy, chin-high sweater. But just like any other basics in your wardrobe, with the proper mixing and matching with other closet staples, this tricky top can go from something unflattering to something super stylish. To help you girls get a head start with this trend, we've listed down ways on how you can rock the turtleneck courtesy of your favorite fashion bloggers and celebs! Scroll down and start styling!

 2  Casual Chic

For a more casual look, wear your turtleneck with jeans and sneakers. Pair it with printed bottoms for an extra hint of fun and throw on a blazer if you're opting for a more polished look.
