From Our Readers: How to Deal with Your OOTD Struggles for a School Activity
Jeans, check. What top should I wear? How about my shoes and bag? Help me out!
Every time our school holds an event, it's a struggle to choose the right outfit. It's not an easy task to choose what you're going to wear. People will stare, compliment, and judge you by the way you look. How we dress can easily violate a few rules, and you don't want to be sent to the Guidance Counselor's office for that, right? There are ways on how to style up for school events. Here are some things you should keep in mind.
Don't show so much skin. Skimpy clothes, short shorts, low necklines, and anything too revealing isn't appropriate in school.
Follow the theme. Some schools have themes during school events, so make sure to wear something that follows that. You don't want to be reprimanded by your teachers and school authorities when you're standing out for the wrong reason, right?
Be unique and be yourself. Your choice of attire is parallel to your personality, a representation of what you believe and what you think.
Don't be afraid to try something new. Whether it's a piece you haven't really worn before or a combination you haven't tried, go and wear it.
Look like your age. Dress according to your age.
If you're 15, then dress like you're 15.
