Candy Reader Poetry: Walang Forever

A poem inspired by the movie 'Walang Forever.'
PHOTO Quantum Films ART Clare Magno

I wrote you a letter;
One that reflects memories,
Those that I can't forget

It isn't as short as our years
But it's as sweet as your last breath
Which as I wrote, I shed tears
Remembering our plans

Telling you I was sorry
For all the fights we've had,
Thanking you for everything
Like the happiness we shared

Oh how I can't move on
For moments were stolen from me
Moments I sealed with a kiss,
Kisses that I'm sure you seek

Our time might have ended too soon
But my love hadn't
It's here still, alive,
and it will go on.
