Candy Reader Poetry: Love Me Again When the Rain Ends
"I don't know what is like to love someone who the world tells me I am not supposed to love." —Lang Leav, Memories
You were the cold breeze on my summer nights,
The sun to my bright world
And you were once there in my cold heart
But stars says no, please don't fall
I was in deep trouble for loving you more than myself.
It's my fault for loving you too much, and I'm sorry for that.
I'm saying sorry for loving you constantly and hurting myself solely.
Don't let us fall, it breaks my heart
But don't let me go, it tears me apart
Just stay there near
Until that time our hearts heal.
My feelings are constantly kept in secret
My mind says I'm content
But my heart's saying a different thing
If only my heart could brave the storms,
maybe then my cold heart won't be this sore.
Saying this would be the last
When everything will be left in the past
Brighter days, please keep shining
Pick me up on these rainy days
Hold on, maybe not now,
but just love me again, when rain ends.
