Talinum: the New Veggie Craze in QC

Women backyard gardeners in Barangay Botocan in Quezon City grew and propagated this indigenous herb plant

Thanks to the quarantine. Women backyard gardeners in Barangay Botocan in Quezon City grew and propagated this indigenous herb plant. It's as nutritious and vitamin-packed as other native veggies like alugbati or saluyot and it's now been sold in the community and public markets. But the women urban farmers have also found a better to supply the market : through barter with produce of other farmers or trading it with seedlings of other plants.
