Are you happy?
When was the last time you confidently answer 'Yes, I am happy.' And what does it really mean to be happy? We struggle and fight battles that we don't know how to handle. And most of the time, when we are faced with trying times, we can't help to ask 'Why is this happening to me?' 'Why can't I be happy just for once?'
It's hard to look on the positive side of things when you are struggling. And it's totally okay to feel sad and lost and to embrace that feeling for a moment. But instead of looking for answers for all the whys, have you ever asked yourself 'What is this trying to teach me?' and 'What are the things that can make me happy?' Maybe you just didn't notice, when you wake up in the morning and drink your favorite coffee, you're happy.
When you listen to your favorite music and dance to it, you're happy. When you grab your favorite meal and become so full, you're happy. We always based our happiness on the things that we want to have, on the success and glitz of the world that we forget that happiness can be from the small things that we tend to ignore. And yes, we can't be happy at all times because this is life-it's full of never ending trials but there's no way that we can't find happiness. What it means to be happy is to appreciate even the smallest beautiful thing that is happening to you. When you wake up in the morning, isn't it a reason to be happy? - to be given another chance to embrace the beauty of the world and the challenge that it brings. You are living.
