While putting on makeup and trying out the different makeup trends can be fun, you can up the ante of your beauty looks in a snap by taking care of your skin religiously. Primers do the trick of keeping your makeup in place and foundation allows you to fake poreless skin, but great skin allows you to do both without having to cover up anything. We've listed down the different tips you need to do daily for flawless skin. Now, we're listing down skin care tips you need to do weekly to keep your skin glowing.

Clean your makeup brushes. Yes, cleaning your makeup brushes can take too much of your time. But these brushes accumulate bacteria over time, and come in direct contact with your skin which can cause breakouts, or even skin infections. Yikes!

Use a face mask. Face masks are your best bet for a quick pampering session without having to leave the comfort of your home. Different face masks boast of different skin benefits, too. From hydrating to brightening, you name it! But before you put on a face mask, be sure to check first if the mask is suitable for your skin type.

Don't forget to clean your phone. Just like your makeup brushes, your phones accumulate bacteria over time especially since you bring them anywhere you go. Plus, it comes in direct contact with your face, too. So be sure to disinfect and wipe your phones once a week.

Change your pillowcases. Your pillowcase is one of the common culprits of breakouts. It gathers dirt and bacteria white sitting on your bed and when you tuck yourself in at night, your face comes in contact with the accumulated bacteria, too. Change your pillowcases every week to avoid any skin breakouts.
