Whether you're a fan of the whole get lit trend or not, you have to admit that aside from the pretty palettes that are obsess-worthy, highlighters are the easiest way to fake great skin and score the covetable dewy look, too. But here's something we totally didn't see coming and we bet you didn't either. Apparently, there's a highlighter out there that's made for your vagina, too! #Shookt!

It was surprising enough when Emma Watson spilled that she swears by Fur's pubic hair oil in an interview with Into the Gloss. And as if the introduction of lipstick for the vagina wasn't shocking enough, eyebrows were raised yet again with the release of The Perfect V's highlighter for the vagina. According to an interview with Byrdie, Avonda Urben, the founder of TPV said that the highlighter is made to simply even out the skin tone, add luminosity, and soften the bikini area. Now, unlike our favorite Sleek and Benefit palettes, TPV's Very V Luminizer isn't getting much love from the Twitterverse and is getting flak for "making women feel bad about their bodies."

While the safety of these products is still up for discussion despite being "dermatologist- and gynecologist-tested, fragrance-free, without parabens, and are pH-balanced," Urben clarifies that they're not trying to put down any woman with their products, but rather they're "providing luxury skin care options." "More and more, women are removing hair and that delicate skin is different than the rest of the body. Let's face it—we are either ripping it out, putting a blade to it or using depilatory creams to remove the hair. And afterward, we just leave it alone. This line of luxury skin care products addresses the specific skin care needs of your bikini line. No embarrassment, no shame—just matter of fact. Every woman has a different body, and every body is beautiful," Urben said.

What do you think of this highlighter for your vagina? Would you ever give it a try?
