Show Off Your Pinoy Pride Through Nail Art

Now you can show your nationalism through your nail art just like Olympic Medalist, Hidilyn Diaz.

Hidilyn Diaz recently made the whole country proud when she bagged the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games for the women's 53-kg weightlifting division. While it didn't surprise us that a Filipina took home a medal, Hidilyn's nail art, on the other hand, did!

Hidilyn's hands were decked out in a Philippine-themed nail art which showed her love for the country, and how she joined the Rio Olympics not for herself, but for the Philippines. Her nationalistic nail art inspired us to look for nail art designs we could rock to show off our Pinoy pride, too! So scroll down as we share with you five of the best nail art we found that scream Pinoy pride.

Keep your nail art simple by opting for a chic white nail hue. You can make your nail color pop by painting a Philippine flag on one of your nails, too.

Make your nail art patriotic, but fun by doing the polka in red, white, and blue.

Rock the Philippine flag on your digits with this cool nail art design we're currently loving.

Add some spunk into your nails by adding tiny gold dots on your nail art. It still looks nationalistic, but with a cool twist and a lot edgier.

Half-red, half-blue nails are a cool way to show your love for the country. But if you want to add a little bit more pizzazz to your nails, opt to paint one nail in white and add a bright sun to complete your nail party.

Are you ready to pull a Hidilyn and rock nationalistic nail art, too? Don’t forget to snap us a photo and tag us at @candymagdotcom if you do!
