Good news for all cosmetics enthusiasts! Last November 20, Rustan's Makati's Beauty Source just got a new look. It's now more spacious and features new, gleaming make-up and fragrance counters that are especially zoned to give customers a new sense of ease when shopping. Guests eagerly visited counters to try new products and each brand had different raffles, giveaways, and surprises, too! There were also performances plus free food and drinks. Being there was definitely every beauty junkie’s dream come true.
Design & Space
Designed by the international firm Callison, the Cosmetics, Perfumery & Toiletries (C, P & T) floor is given a fresh, more spacious layout. Circular fragrance counters are strategically laid out, tastefully announcing the brands available. A Beauty Launch Pad was also created for events and activities to introduce the latest products.
Brands & Services
On its counters are brands exclusive to Rustan’s such as Chanel, Clarins, La Prairie, Estee Lauder, Clinque, La Mer, Sisley, and Lancôme. Its stand-alone boutiques offer top niche brands such as Nars, Laura Mercier, Diptyque, Annick Goutal, and Acca Kappa. All have personal beauty consultants within reach to lend their expertise to the customers.
Aside from the C, P & T renovation, a unique service of the stores is the regular make-up classes conducted by international make-up artists. There are also regular head-to-toe health, beauty, and skin care services on the 5th floor. Trusted names such as Clarins, Murad, and Dermalogica offer spa and professional skin treatments and high-end salon Emphasis provides services catering to all. Plus, located at the Grand Mall are the new OPI and Lippmann Nail bars.
The Kiss of Goodwill
Aside from the celebrating Rustan’s new look, the highlight of the night was the launch of The Kiss of Goodwill—a fundraiser for the Yolanda victims. For every kiss collected and displayed at the exhibit hall, Rustan’s pledges to donate 100 pesos to Red Cross. The Kiss of Goodwill walls were full of kisses from celebrities, bloggers, editors, and other guests. Talk about beauty for a cause!
