Although more and more lash-growing products have popped up in the beauty market—some in the form of serums in wand/tube packaging, I'm not 100% convinced of their safety. Reports of allergic reactions, like reddening of the eyes or darkening of the eyelids are reason enough for me to steer clear of such solutions. Even more "natural" solutions like castor oil, are still not deemed safe, say ophthalmologists. The quickest solution is lash-lengthening mascara, which temporarily makes your eyelashes look longer. They aren't the long-term answer, but they're definitely the safest way to go until more sophisticated and safer lash-growing products are made.
