Keep Your Face Clean and Clear
What's a good beauty regimen for keeping your complexion clear?
There are several ways to help your skin steer clear of acne—one of the bumps (literally and figuratively) in any teenager's life. Cleaning your face thoroughly at the end of the day helps get rid of dirt and other build up that may get lodged on your skin. That means using a makeup remover (if you wear makeup), and a cleansing milk, gel, scrub (depending on your skin type). A non-alcoholic toner gets rid of other dirt that you weren't able to pick up. Another key to prevent acne? Keep your hands away from your face—they carry bacteria that can cause unsightly breakouts (that means leaving your zit-popping habits up to a Philippine Dermatological Society-licensed dermatologist). Your cell phones also harbor bacteria, so make sure to clean your phone pad well before spending some serious talk time on your mobile.
