The Hairstyle You See A Lot On K-Drama Actors, And How To Achieve It
Let’s set things straight: K-dramas are just as much for guys as it is for the ladies. Not all K-dramas are purely about romance, and if they were, then there’s certainly nothing wrong with guys getting kilig over them.
If you’ve been binging on a bunch of K-dramas, you’ll notice by now that many Korean actors tend to favor a certain hairstyle. Case in point:
This is often called the curtain hairstyle, and it’s pretty easy to achieve! Lifestyle blogger David Guison even shared a tutorial for it on his channel so you can cop the look, too.
To achieve the hairstyle, David says you need to keep your hair at the front a bit longer and keep the back portion and the sides shorter. You’ll also be needing a pomade or wax, preferably one that’s lightweight so the end result would still look natural.
Once you have your pomade, rub it between your hands and sweep through your hair from your forehead going backwards. Then cup the front part of your hair to achieve a wavy result. Experiment with different kinds of waves until you’re satisfied. And voila, kamukha mo na si Lee Dong Wook!
