Colbie Caillat just did something most singers and celebrities have never done before as she goes completely makeup-free in her latest "Try" music video. The singer doesn't only make a stand against Photoshop editing and having to wear makeup, she also makes a statement about the false perception of beauty prevalent in the media today. The video features Colbie and other women of all ages and backgrounds stripping off their makeup as they lip-sync to the song. We just absolutely love the powerful message the song and video makes about natural beauty and self-acceptance, and how it's what truly matters. Here's a line from her song below that talks about just that: "You don't have to try so hard, you don't have to, give it all away, you just have to get up, get up, get up, get up, you don't have to change a single thing."

Not only does Colbie go makeup-free in the video, she also shares with her fans that she didn't even try do anything else to change herself in the video as she tweeted, "'Try' is the 1st video I've never prepared for. Didn't go tanning or diet or heavily workout... & it felt wonderful!" How cool is it that she really stayed true to the message of the song? We definitely give the singer two thumbs up for inspiring us and girls everywhere to be proud of their natural beauty—inside and out! Here's hoping more celebrities use their power and influence to do the same!
