Makeup newbies, there's no reason for you to be scared of blush. Once you find a formula that works for you, getting a natural flush in minutes would be easy peasy. To help you out with your search, we got tips straight from a pro. On his vlog channel, celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan shared his top five beginner-friendly blush picks from different price points. Check them out below!

Best Blushes for Beginners

1. EB Advance Power Paint

What's great about this liquid blush is that it's incredibly pigmented, so you only need a small amount to achieve a natural flush. Since it dries quickly, Albert suggests blending it out immediately with your fingers to prevent any streaks!

2. NARS Multiple

Albert swears by NARS blushes, but what he loves about this product is that it blends easily, making it perfect for beginners. And despite being a cream, it sets into a powder finish that helps it adhere to the skin better.

3. NARS Liquid Blush

Another NARS product the makeup artist recommends is the liquid blush, which he loves for the same reason as he does the Multiple: It's easy to blend and has a flattering powder finish.

4. In2it Waterproof Single Blush

If your struggle with blush is applying too much by accident, a powder blush without strong pigments is worth a try. Albert mentions this product from In2it as an example, saying that while it's not the most pigmented, it glides smoothly over the skin and does the job!

5. Teviant Blush to Flush Palette

For a long-wearing, high-quality blush that's also pro-approved, Albert recommends his makeup brand Teviant's Blush to Flush palettes. He shares that while formulating these, his priority was to make sure the powders felt lightweight on the skin and had good color payoff. The best part? Each palette has two different colors that you can wear alone or mix for a new look!
