Dark under-eye circles, uneven skin tone, pimples, these are just some of the reasons why every girl needs a trusty and hardworking concealer in her beauty kit. While there are a ton of concealers that actually get the job of hiding your temporary flaws for a brief period, with the hot weather in the city, too much sweat and facial oil can easily melt away your concealer, revealing everything that you tried to hide in the first place. To make sure that your concealer stays put the whole day, we asked celebrity makeup artist to the likes of Gabbi Garcia and Kate Valdez, Jason de los Reyes to give us the deets on how to make your concealer game strong and more importantly, reliable.
Q: How do I get my concealer to stay put the whole day?
Jason: No matter how good you are with your makeup game, it's fairly common for your makeup—especially your concealer—to fade away as the day goes by. To keep your concealer game strong and reliable, I recommend applying eye cream first to wake up sleepy eyes and minimize puffiness under the eyes, too. Next, put on the concealer, and set it with a damp sponge with a little bit of powder on it.
How about you? How do you make your concealer last the whole day?
