Beauty Crimes: Mismatched Foundation

Bail out from this notorious beauty crime!

Looking for the perfect foundation that suits your skin's needs and your skin tone is definitely a challenge. We've all been guilty of hastily buying the wrong shade of foundation which gives us either too pale skin or too dark skin tone that doesn't even match our necks! Getting the right shade of foundation is a very important and crucial step when building your beauty kits. Get it wrong and you risk looking sick, or darker than you would want. But get it right and you get flawless-looking skin and a strong canvas for your beauty looks. Read on to find out more on how you can score the foundation that’s perfect for your skin color. Plus, how you can properly apply it!

The right foundation for your skin tone.

When foundation shopping, a lot of people test the different shades on their hands. But your hands are not a good tester to check if the foundation shade is right for your skin tone because due to constant sun exposure, the color of your hands may be darker than your natural color. Instead, test the foundation shade on your chest. After testing, leave the store and walk around for at least fifteen minutes to see how the shade changes as it gets absorbed deeper into your skin before making a purchase.
