With school starting real soon, we want to show you some tricks that you can do to make sure you look awesome. Check back every Saturday for the month of June for a new hairstyle that you can try doing yourself! :)

The Braidband

  1. Grab a section of your hair from one side. The amount of hair you'll braid will depend on how thick you want your braidband to be.
  2. Carefully separate that section into three. You will do a simple braid by overlapping the two outer sections over the middle one. Repeat until you reach the end of your hair. Tie the braid with a hair elastic.
  3. Holding the end of the braid, overlap it on your head and secure with a bobby pin on the other side. You can finish the look off with hair gloss to keep your hair from sticking out.

Variation: Twirl the remaining hair into a messy bun and secure with a cute clip. Check out the slideshow to see options for hair accessories.

How are you planning to rock your hair this school year?
