Having dark underarms isn't just a vanity problem, it's a real beauty problem that's frustrating and can stir up low self-esteem issues, too! While having dark kili-kili can be embarrassing, the good news is that it's not a lost cause. To help you out with your kili-kili problems, we asked dermatologist and EliteAsia Aesthetic Center's CEO Dr. Rhoda Espino to share with us the natural ways to whiten dark pits fast.

Lemon. It's not new info that lemon is a great cleanser and its acidic properties make it a great alternative for whitening products, too. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that lemon can naturally whiten dark underarms. Use the lemon peel, rub it against your underarms, and rinse.

Orange. Not only are oranges good for your health, their peels work well in lightening and exfoliating the skin, too! Save a few orange peels and leave them out to dry. Once the orange peels have completely dried up, grind them until they turn into powder form. Mix the powder with rose water and milk and leave the paste on your underarms for a good ten minutes. Rinse and repeat for the next few weeks.

Potato. Calamansi is the usual go-to of a lot of girls when it comes to solving dark pits problem, but calamansi tends to be too acidic and can cause burns. Yikes! Instead of using calamansi and run the risk of burning your skin, opt for potatoes, which have mild, acidic properties, making it a great bleaching alternative! Grab a couple of thinly sliced potatoes and gentle massage your underarms with it and rinse after.

Cucumber. You can massage a cucumber on your underarms the way you would with a potato or you can use the cucumber juice, too.

Baking Soda. Just like lemons, baking soda is popular for their whitening properties. A lot of girls use it to solve yellow-stained teeth and you can use it to solve dark underarm problems as well. Just mix it with a little bit of water, apply to your underarms, and rinse.

Honey Oatmeal Mix. Not only does a honey oatmeal mix whiten dark underarms, it can soothe irritated skin, too. Double yay!
