Ever had a long night out or an all-nighter for your finals week? I'm sure all of us Candy Girls have been through that a couple of times. However, no amount of caffeine will ever be enough to boost your appearance and make you look like you've had 10 hours of sleep. There are just some things that only the power of makeup can achieve! Below are some tips and tricks that you can keep in mind the next time you pull an all-nighter and wake up looking like you just came from the set of The Walking Dead!

De-puff

The one thing that will show up the most after a tiring night is tired and puffy eyes. Before you apply makeup, try to depuff your peepers by using a cold spoon. Leave your spoon in the freezer for about 15 minutes and use the back of the spoon to depuff those tired eyes!

Conceal those dark circles!

Cover up those raccoon eyes with the help of concealer! The trick to covering up your under eye bags is to use a concealer that is lighter than your skin tone. Using a brighter concealer for your under eye will help you look more awake and look less dull.

Even out your skin tone.

Staying up all night may sometimes cause unwanted breakouts and discoloration in your skin. With that, you might want to use a foundation that's not too heavy on your face. Even out your complexion by using a light or dewy foundation to bring a natural glow that'll make it look like you just woke up from a long nap!

Add a pop of color

Cancel out dullness by adding a pop of color to your cheeks. Sometimes, we tend to forget that a little bit of color can actually make a huge difference. Opt for a rosy blush to give yourself a natural-looking flushed look. If you're feeling a little extra, add a bit of highlighter on top of your blush to really brighten up your face.

Use white eyeliner!

Another great trick for looking bright and awake is using white eyeliner on your waterline. By applying white eyeliner, you're actually giving the appearance of a bigger and brighter eye, which is what you exactly need when you're puyat.

Curl your lashes and use your trusty mascara!

If using a white eyeliner is not enough, you can go to the next level by curling your lashes and applying mascara to really open up your peepers. Don't overlook this simple trick! Having lifted lashes will really give the illusion of larger eyes so you won't look lazy or sleepy.

What do you do to fake a wide awake look when you're puyat?
