Similar to skin care, every girl has a go-to makeup routine that she absolutely swears by already. Whether that's putting on the foundation before applying the concealer and vice versa. But if you're looking for ways to switch up your makeup regimen and make it even better than it already is, read on as Gabbi Garcia's go-to makeup artist Jason delos Reyes shares with us his non-negotiable makeup tricks you should totally add to your makeup steps, STAT!

Apply toner and moisturizer before proceeding with your makeup routine. This step is very important because the toner helps minimize the appearance of the pores while the moisturizer prepares your skin for makeup. Applying your toner and your moisturizer beforehand will help create a flawless canvas for your beauty look for the day.

Dab, don't swirl. When applying powder to your face, gently dab the product on the skin using a powder brush. Avoid putting on powder in a swirling motion because this movement will micro exfoliate the skin, which will make the foundation cakey.

Rose Water! Use a generous amount of rose water to let all the makeup you use blend together perfectly!

Heat your eyelash curler. To make sure that your eyelashes look long and full all day, use a blow dryer and heat your eyelash curler for a good three to five seconds before curling your lashes.
