There are a lot of common misconceptions about short tresses and not being able to create intricate and more elaborate hairstyles is on top of the list. But we say, just like long locks, a short cut is just as fashionable and versatile. So if you're rocking a short cut and want to pull off an always chic updo, keep on scrolling, Candy Girls, because we're listing down five different updos you can rock with your short tresses.

Throw your hair up in a messy bun and wrap a headscarf to add some major dose of retro cool to your 'do. The headscarf doesn't just spice your 'do up, it also hides all the bobby pins and makes sure that your hair stays put throughout the day, too. Double yay!

Braids are an easy way to make your tresses look fun and fresh and they're absolutely perfect for short hair. Create a low braided bun and throw in delicate flower accessories for an ultra-feminine hair game.

For an easy to do hairstyle, create a low braid, roll it inwards, and secure the 'do with your trusty bobby pins. This look will take you fifteen minutes tops to do, but is supercool and incredibly chic, too.

Keep your hair game strong with an intricate-looking twist hairstyle that won't take too much of your time to do. Just create a side twist, lock it with bobby pins, mist a few hairspray and you're good to go!

Remember the Dutch braids you used to rock in grade school? Well, they're just as fun and chic even when you're in college already. Create two Dutch braids and secure with bobby pins for a hairstyle that can easily take you from classroom to hangout.
