4 Makeup Mistakes To Avoid

Never fall prey into these makeup mishaps ever again!

We've all been guilty of overdoing our makeup up to some degree as well as struggling with using certain beauty products. So to help you avoid any of these beauty mistakes, here are four tips to help you prevent any further makeup mishaps from happening!

  1. Muddy contour!

Let's face it, sometimes our contouring can go a little overboard to the point where our faces end up looking bruised instead of contoured. Be sure to choose a contour palette that isn't too dark for your skin tone, and remember to blend upwards rather than downwards when contouring your cheekbones!

  1. Concealer sliding off your face.

If your concealer is constantly slipping off your face, then you might want to try setting it with a translucent powder first. This will surely lock your concealer in place and prolong it's wear, too.

  1. Clumpy mascara.

Use an eyelash comb or a spoolie to get rid of any annoying clumps and leave your lashes looking nothing less than flawless.

  1. Raccoon eyes!

This is undoubtedly one of the easiest makeup mistakes to make! If you're not exactly the type to go for Jenny Humphrey-esque eyes, a blending brush should be your best friend! Mastering the full on smokey eyes can be pretty difficult so don't forget that at the end of the day, practice makes perfect! Watch the video here on how to avoid this beauty crime!
