We can go on all day about everything 2019 has taught us. One of which, in fact, is expressing yourself in many different ways. They say your hair is your crowning glory because it makes or breaks your entire look. Aside from it being the “completing piece” to every ensemble, trying out new things with your hair is also a pretty cool way to express yourself. With that, we’ve rounded up a couple of hairstyles you might want to try out this 2020, inspired by our favorite celebs.
1. Loose beach waves with a pop of color.
As seen on Janina Vela, it wouldn’t hurt to add a pop of bold color—in this case, red—to your usual beach waves and balayage combo.
2. Long and laid-back.
It might be great to give your hair a break and ditch all the grooming products even just for a couple of days or weeks. Skip the slick hairstyle for now and try growing your hair out for a bit to achieve a naturally wavy, idol-worthy 'do instead.
3. A full head of bold color.
In previous years, the trend of coloring just the ends of your hair (aka Ombre) has come and gone. Apart from our love for her authenticity and music, Billie Eilish is giving us major inspo to go for a full-on edgy look with her blue hair. Bonus: Classic Blue is Pantone's Color of the Year for 2020, so it's the perfect time to go big with your hair transformation.
4. Color looks good on guys, too.
Never not crushing on LA Aguinaldo--we especially admire his fearlesness when it comes to his hair. Take cues from our resident cutie and give highlights or sectional bleaching a try.
5. Wispy bangs and long locks.
You don't have to fully commit to chopping all of your hair off, just like Vivoree, who opted for on-trend bangs but kept her long healthy waves.
6. Cut it short.
Aside from the convenience it’s able to offer, short hair is a great way to express yourself, too. Just like this look on Hannah Pangilinan, sometimes, well-groomed short hair is all you need to make a statement.
7. Curls aren't just for girls.
