Zayn Malik Shows Up with a Shaved Head in His First Public Appearance Since Leaving One Direction

We cannot deal rn.

We've been waiting with bated breath to see Zayn Malik post-One Direction exit and he surely knew how to give fans a surprise. In his very first public appearance following the news of his departure from 1D, he showed up at the Asian Awards in London with a completely shaved head!

We're not entirely sure how to feel about this. He looked so good with all that hair and now...

No ponytail, no single strand falling across his forehead...

Well, we suppose it's awesome to see all of his beautiful face now with no hair to distract us from those eyes. Swoon. Okay, so maybe we're okay with the shaved head.

The Asian Awards honors the highest level of achievement in the Asian community. Zayn was awarded Outstanding Achievement in Music. Congrats, Zayn. And you go work that beautiful head of non-hair.
