Despite being born into a showbiz family, Ysabel Ortega joined the entertainment industry relatively late compared to fellow local artists her age. While many Gen Z stars started out as child actors in kiddie gag shows and primetime teleseryes, Ysabel spent most of her childhood out of the spotlight.Â

That said, Ysabel enjoyed her younger years in the same way that many Filipino kids did. She fangirled over Justin Bieber, collected old Candy Magazine issues, and confessed all her secrets ot her mom. In fact, she was already well into her teens when she scored her first-ever acting gig as Angela in On The Wings of Love. From there, Ysabel gained her first artista paycheck, befriended the Agpangan twins, and officially became a full-fledged actress.Â
