Your Cheat Sheet to the Music of Hunter Hayes
Let's start with baby Hunter Hayes. Look at him play that accordion. Look at him sing his little heart out. Look at that mop of blonde hair. Look. At. Him.
Now that we've got your attention, here's grownup (but still boyish) Hunter in the music video for "Storm Warning" in 2011. The single comes from his self-titled debut album, for which he wrote/co-wrote the songs and played all 30+ instruments. We pity whoever has to list down all the talents of this multi-hyphenate.
Another one off his debut album, "Wanted" is one of his most famous singles and one of the crowd's most requested when he's onstage up to this day.
"If you're lookin' to be somebody's 'just friends' / A little laughin', little lovin', never callin' again, that's just fine / If you're gonna be somebody's heartbreak, be mine." Yeah, add "Somebody’s Heartbreak" to your feels playlist rn.
The very first tour that Hunter joined as an opening act was Taylor Swift's. Two years later, she had him as her surprise guest in Nashville and together they sang "I Want Crazy." How's that for full circle?
You might've heard of this one from a commercial or soundtrack. Hunter asked Jason Mraz to team up with him for the easy, breezy, but actually kinda sad "Everybody's Got Somebody But Me."
Hunter took the empowering message of "Invisible," off his second album called Storyline, to the Grammys this year.
Finally, we have his latest single, "Tattoo." Raise your hand if you think his name sounds good next to yours!
