ICYMI, Kristel Fulgar recently read and reacted to some of the internet's *assumptions* about her. One of the topics she discussed was about her being the endorser of Face Republic. A comment of a netizen read: "Hindi niya deserve maging face ng Face Republic. Marami naman puwedeng ibang artista like Barbie Forteza [or] Liza Soberano—yung mga baby face."

According to Kristel, she initially doubted herself and her abilities. "Actually, nung prinopose sakin 'tong project na 'to, ang sabi ko, 'Kaya ko ba? Bakit ako pa?' Pwede namang sila Liza or mga [other] Koreans. Pero kung deserve ko ba talaga... ako, ginagawa ko yung best ko to support the brand talaga since the beginning. Naging kasama ako sa journey ng Face Republic, so proud talaga ako sa brand," she shared.

Another comment from a netizen read: "Tingin ko siya nag-propose kay Big Boss to be the face of Face Republic."
Kristel clarified that since she was a loyal user of the brand and Yohan saw how *supportive* she was of it, Yohan offered a product collaboration with her.
She shared that since she has never been the model of any brand before, she felt very nervous taking on the project. "Parang kahit ako, nag-doubt ako sa sarili ko nung mga time na 'yun. [Pero] sabi niya, kaya ko raw. Ganun kataas tiwala niya sakin. So parang, mayroong someone na nagtitiwala sa akin, why not pagkatiwalaan ko rin sarili ko?" she recalled.
Towards the end of the video, Kristel called Yohan to ask if she can give away more of her makeup kits to her subscribers. She also brought up the comments where people thought she was the one who told him to make her the face of the brand, and he was *quick* to defend her. "Of course, it's not you! I was the one who proposed [the project] to you," he said.

Kristel continued, "Then someone said, parang I don't deserve to be the face of Face Republic daw."
Yohan reassured her: "Don't mind them. They don't know what they're talking about. Don't mind them if they only make you think of bad thoughts. Everyone liked the output of the videos and photos. Ignore them, those comments aren't true." Awww, kilig!
